-2012/2013 COACHING STAFF-

Head Wrestling Coach Rob Meadors 

Coach Meadors is in his 2nd year at the helm of CCHS wrestling. He is no stranger to the program. Rob, a 2001 graduate of Clinton High School, was a standout wrestler while at CCHS. He furthered his career, wrestling at Northern Illinois University while pursuing his college degree. Coach Meadors, and son Colin, currently live in Clinton. Coach Meadors is an assistant in the CCHS special education department. He is proud to be giving back to the program that gave him his success. We welcome Coach Meadors as he leads a new era of Clinton wrestling as our head coach!

Assistant Wrestling Coach Matt Cooper 

Coach Cooper has returned to Clinton after completing his degree at Eureka College. Matt is a 2006 graduate of Clinton, having played football and wrestling for four years. Coach C excelled in wrestling while at Clinton, having qualified as a state finalist. Matt is serving as one of our teacher's aides this school year. His coaching background and knowledge of wrestling is a welcome addition to the CCHS storied program. We welcome Coach Cooper back to Clinton as a part of Clinton athletics.

Assistant Wrestling Coach Chris Moody 

Coach Moody is no stranger to Clinton Wrestling. A 2002 graduate of CCHS, Chris was a standout wrestler for the Maroons. He went on to wrestle at Elmhust College before finishing up his marketing degree from Eastern Illinois University. Coach Moody, his wife, and son live in the Clinton area, making their living on the farm.

Assistant Wrestling Coach Josh Vandervort 

Coach Vandervort has been associated with Clinton Wrestling for many years, both as an athlete and coach. A graduate of CHS, Josh began wrestling in Jr. High, and became a two time sectional qualifier while in high school. He was a member of the Maroons 3rd place state finish of 1990. Coach Vandervort has been on the CJHS wrestling staff from 2002 to 2011. This is his first season as a member of the CHS staff. Josh and his family make their home in Clinton.
