Coach Fricke comes to Clinton by way of Lincoln, Illinois. Aaron went to high school in Lincoln, where he was an all conference thrower and sprinter for the Railsplitters. The past couple of years, Coach Fricke has been coaching track at Porta High School in Petersburg, Illinois. One of his proudest coaching achievements is helping coach his brother, Caleb (now throwing at Purdue), to a state championship and state record in the discus. Coach Fricke is a teacher's assistant this year at CCHS. He is also on the football staff as the varsity defensive coordinator. Welcome Coach Fricke.

Coach McClurg is coaching his second season as a member of the CCHS boys coaching staff. Josh, a 2005 graduate, was a strong distance runner for the Maroons while in school. He later took his talents to Decatur, running for the Big Blue of Millikin during his college days. Josh will be spending much of his efforts coaching the distance events for the Maroons. We welcome Coach McClurg back to Clinton.
